If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36

A  Pastor with GUTS!
Thought you might enjoy this interesting
prayer given in  Kansas at
the opening session of their Senate. It seems
prayer still upsets some people... When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open
the new session of the  Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual  generalities, but this is what they heard:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask
your forgiveness and to seek your direction and
guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those
who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we
have done.
We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.
We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called  it choice.
We have shot abortionists and called  it justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem..
We have abused power and called it  politics.
We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression..
We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search  us, Oh, God, and know our hearts
today;  cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
Amen!

The response was immediate.. A number of
legislators walked out during the prayer in
protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian
Church,  where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than
5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls
responding negatively. The church is now receiving
international requests for copies of this prayer
from  India , Africa and  Korea .

 IT PAYS TO PRAY!! AMEN?

Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on
his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story,'and
received a larger response to this program than any
other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep
over our nation and wholeheartedly become our
desire so that we again can be called 'one nation
under God.'

Ps 9:17-20
17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.18 For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.20 Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

Greetings to everyone who logs-on this site.

This is "The Church of God" Prison Ministry Team of Florida and Georgia web page.

My name is Rick Razsi, and I am the Regional Prison Ministry Director. I have been doing Prison Ministry now for ten years. I was wanting to have a web site for a long time so people could be able to read the testimonies letters and poems written by the inmates I have had the pleasure to minister too. Below you will find several letters and reading materials that were written by inmates and myself. I have messages and doctrinal letters that you can read and I hope and pray that you will be blessed by the contents of this site. Also, that someone will find the Salvation of God within the words on this site. If you have any comments or prayer requests, please go to the prayer page, and put your comment there.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us and I hope your keep coming back to read the entries coming in the future. Times are changing, But God's word never changes. If you are desiring to go to heaven when you leave this world, you must know the truth, because its the TRUTH that will set you free, not mans ideas or opinions.

God Bless you and Keep You in His Peace,

Rick
