CPMA MARKERS; Made into the Image of Christ

The Church member as a CPMA Associate has a responsibility to bring his or her self under the workings of the Spirit of God. We are to be shaped and fashioned into the image of Christ, for Christ hath come in the flesh [ 1 Jn 4:2 ] and we must be transformed by the renewing of the mind and the old man must be crucified unto God.  Yet even being sanctified we have deep desires within our hearts and weaknesses wherewith we were raised up with, rooted deep down into the well of our heart. The heart is deep and desperately wicked, who can know it? But God does know it! He sees the weaknesses and lusts of our past life and has to eradicate everything within us that is not like his son Jesus Christ. As a marker of stone we must be grinded upon and chiseled with a sharp chisel and hammer to remove some of these old stubborn weaknesses and lusts we have deep within. The word of God is like a hammer that breaketh in pieces. Jer 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? To fashion a marker in the likeness of God, he must use the tools of the spirit to hammer away and burn out those weaknesses and lusts we so quickly return to when we are tried by temptations and desires of the heart. Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. God will chisel away and grind deeper and deeper until the thoughts and intents of the heart are holy continually and not conceived from a filthy heart of desire of evil concupiscence.  Concupiscence is a longing for, a longing for the sinfulness we were delivered from when we got sanctified. This world is continually drawing people into its evil ways through the lust of man. Cars, food, houses, motor cycles, even furniture,  just about everything is sold through lust. You can’t watch T.V. without seeing a lustful person selling you something through the flesh.
       If there is anything desiring for evil within our heart, evil concupiscence will long for that sinful pleasure and God will chisel at your heart until it is repented of and abandoned forever. Gal 4:9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?  If we take fire into our bosom we will be burned, [Prov 6:27] if we desire evil deep within by watching it around us we will long for it and be tempted by it and slain by it if we do not repent and get it under the blood of God and get the victory of the weakness. Luke 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. Those who have heard the word of God must allow God to crucify the flesh and the old man with his evil deeds, or when the devil comes to steal the word away, he will be left alone on the rocks and have no depth to his salvation and when he is tempted with his weaknesses deep within his heart, he will cave into his evil concupiscence and sin against his Lord.
