If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8:36

Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. ( They shall be . . One Flesh )

Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery. ( Law on stone )

Leviticus 20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. ( Old testament Law called for Death )

Luke 16:14-18 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. 15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. 16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. 17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the (law) to fail. 18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery. It is easier for Heaven and earth to pass away than one tittle of the Law to fail.

Then he gives an example of the power of the law concerning Marriage. There are no exceptions here! God’s Law will be fulfilled to the tittle. (vs.15) Many people try to justify themselves by condemning the other party with whom they committed an offence one against the other. Such as cheating on ones spouse, again Gods law is in effect: (Forgiveness) John 8:1-12 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. 3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (Now live without sinning!)

If we are saved and walk in Christ, we will not walk in darkness, and we will not sin against the Lord. ( 1 JOHN 3:4-10 ) But Jesus did not come to condemn the sinner, he came to save us from our sins. Many people want to put their spouses away because of the act of Adultery (or any other offences). But he did not condemn the woman caught in Adultery. He said Go! And sin no more. As Jesus was willing to forgive the
