the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? (Example of that Law)
2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Again, in Luke Chapter 16: The writer said, (Luke 16:14-18) And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him. 15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. 16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it. 17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the (law) to fail. 18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.
If you could put them away, Why were they called “Her Husband” and His Wife? Because as long as the other spouse is alive, in Gods eyes the marriage is valid. Divorce is man’s creation and he has no ability to undo the works of God.
( Mark 10:9 ) What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
( Eccl 3:14 ) I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
GOD is serious and he requires what is spoken. The law was spoken by Prophets and Preachers and Jesus spoke his word when he was here. All through the Bible it says, It is written, and it was done. Even to the death of his only begotten Son upon a cross for our sins. The law of God will not fail, Heaven and Earth will pass, But Gods word will not pass away. You have His word on it, and that you can take to the bank.
May God give you understanding and wisdom to discern His word of life and open your heart to the Truth and to the Salvation of His Dear Son, Jesus Christ. Amen!
