I was listening to the Radio and my favorite station, Solid Gospel Music, and I heard, again, the commercial on home based business. One thing I’m getting tired of in this ole world is commercials on Home Based Businesses. Every where you turn another commercial on Home Based Businesses. The line on how much money you can make and how good it is working at home and on and on. I simply turn my attention toward the talking announcer and reply, “No Thanks, I’m not interested, and continue on my days activities. But if you’ll think about it, there are several commercials on the air that I’m simply not interested in. But yet daily, my ears are bombarded with their voices and lines of encouragement and benefits. You see, I’ve been there, done that! I tried a home based business and it didn’t fly, so to speak. After a substantial loss to my finances I cut it off and done some more praying. I found out all about home based business adventures, again, No Thank You, I’m not interested.

But then my mind went into Spiritual thoughts about Home Based Businesses.

I can be bombarded with their lines and offers and their suggestions and simply turn and say, No Thanks, I’m not interested because I’ve been there, done that, and I have made up my mind that I’m not going to get myself tied up in anymore Home based Business fiascoes. I don’t want to get myself into a financial dilemma again and have to pay off another bill of bad choices. But if you’ll think about it, That’s Sanctification at work in the Spiritual realm. After we have lived a life of Sinful Desires and Bad Choices and we get saved and Sanctified by the precious Blood of Jesus Christ, we’re tired of the sins debt we have paid and the anguish of sorrow that sinful practices bring. We are thankful of Gods grace and the forgiveness he has give to us and being set free from sin’s bondage and the power of sin to make us do those unrighteous deeds that wrought sorrow and tears

within our hearts. When we hear the voices of Satan telling us to come back and get into a home based sinful practice, come and get back into the drug life, come and smoke some of that pot, Hey! Come and get into some sexual practices and pornography like the rest of the world is doing and their all Christians, (LOL). We hear the calls of sin and the lines of tormenting thoughts, the idea of sin has pleasures, but not the remembrances of the sorrow they brought to the soul. We hear the commercials of the worlds pleasures and vices taunting us daily seeking to regain the control of our hearts desires and put us right back into the dilemma of sins bondage and power over us. SANCTIFICATION: Gives us the power to look at them and say, “NO THANKS, I’m NOT INTERESTED!

[Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.]

If you are Sanctified, you have the greatest Gift man can receive within his soul. It is the very power of the Blood of God applied to the reigns of the heart of man. He then has the ability and power to turn down sinful desires raised up against him. Lets see what Gods word says about it…. 1 Peter 1:1-9 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

[Our faith is on trial and Satan is trying to win his case against you. We might be in heaviness through manifold temptations, but the Blood of Christ has given us all the power to say no thanks that we need. But we must have our hearts sanctified of the desires of sin.[1 Cor 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.] The reason I don’t get into a home based business is that I have no desire for it. All the commercials don’t have any sway with my mindset. I’m just not interested. We must be that same way with the desires for sin. We must allow Gods Sanctification not only take the desires from us, but we must keep ourselves from those things that war against the soul and try our faith and war with our hearts to indulge into those things again.

[2 Tim 2:21-22 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.] Choose your friends wisely, they could take you back into the vices of sin again. When the world offers you sin, don’t reminisce of the pleasures, just say No Thanks, I’m not interested anymore.]

1 Thess 4:3-7 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: 4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; 5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: 6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

God sent his Son to die on an ole rugged cross for one reason, and that is…..

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. God will except nothing short of Holiness and a Sanctified Life under the Blood of Christ. The world says SEX is normal and allowed by all ages, God says abstain from fornication and learn how to posses your vessel because God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto Holiness. Without which no man shall see the Lord. [Heb 12;14] Don’t listen to the waves of compromise and doubt “On Air” of Satan’s lies, God will help you endure the fight of faith, but we must do something on our own too. Get away from those things that war against you. And hang out with the Brethren, not the old gang, and trust God all the way, and stand in your integrity and power of Jesus Christ because ..[1Cor1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.]

Jesus Christ Died that we could be made free from sin and live without it.

1John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Anyone who believes that you can live in sin and remain in Christ and commit willful sin against a Holy God is sinning against the Spirit of the Grace of God and shall be punished according to his works.

Eph 2:1-4 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

What does God say about those sinning after they are Sanctified?

[Heb 10:28-31 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Eph 5:1-8 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Heb 2:1-3 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. 2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; 3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Take heed to what you have read, You will be judged on it and punished by it and receive your reward by living it.
